I would like to welcome everyone to Band Linkup! Let this be the site that you come to when you feel like talking about the music that you love! This site will let fans talk with Bands and Artists about music. Bands and Artists can upload music that they have created and share it with everyone! Also we have an area for Bands and Artists to post promotional material to help them communicate with fans and possible new fans!

Some questions that have been asked are:
    1. Is this just another myspace?
    2. Why should I come here?
    3. Are you making money from this?
    4. Why was this site created?

The questions above are great questions. So now to put answers with them.
    1. This will not be a myspace kind of site. With myspace everyone has a user account and you must leave comments on profiles in order to chat with each other. Or just PM each other would work also.
    2. You should come here if you love music or just a great community. If your a band or artist, you can share your work with everyone here to enjoy and get to know you.
    3. Nope, I'm not making a dime from doing this. I'm also not using any ads right now because I know how much people dislike them. If I do use any ads, they will target music and nothing else.
    4. I created this site because my fiance is an artist. She loves music and networking. So because of that, I thought that it would be a great idea to create a site that both bands, artists and fans can network together and just talk about the music they love together.
So with that said, I would like to welcome you to Band LinkUp and hope to see you posting soon

    Thanks,
    Jeff T.

    1. Site How To's

    Hello Everyone,

I would like to take some time to tell you about a great tool we have called AdiInviter. This tool will allow you to log into your Email account or networking site account and send an invite to your contacts. Please read the instructions below:

To get started click on the AdiInviter tab at the top and you will get a drop down that says "Invite Friends". Now you will have lots options. You can use your Emaill Contacts or your contacts at networking sites.

After you select what you want to use, you then log into your account and it will load in your contacts for you to choose. Notice: AdiInviter by no means, saves any of your info or contacts.

Choose who you want to invite by checking the box beside the persons name. Then enter a note at the bottom of the page. Notice: If you leave the note area blank it will deselect all of your contacts and ask you to enter a note.

After you have picked who you want, added a small note you then click on invite at the bottom. It will then send invites to the contacts you have selected.

Ender, says that he is also working on new songs at the moment and they should be out later this year.

You can go here to see his promo post and his first music video - [Artist] Ender Bowen - I really like the video and I think that it was made really well for what equipment that they had. Ender tells me that the video was shot with a $250 video camera and some friends with video editing software.

Tinkernut.com is a site that an old co-worker of mine made. He's a really smart guy and started making a lot of video tutorials on how to do really cool stuff with your computer! This is what he says about his site:

So make sure to stop by his site and check out some of his cool videos!
